Those of us that have had or have a dog realize what an impact they can have on
our lives. This page is dedicated to those we have loved and lost.
Memorials
Ted came to us a fuzzy puppy about the size of a fuzzy slipper. His puppy walk was that of a black bear cub so he was named Theodore
Edward Bear..Ted E Bear. By the time Ted was 4 months old we knew something was wrong. He wasn't playing like a pup....and there
were 3 other dogs in the house. The vet diagnosed that the hips were not developing as they should to fit the thigh bone in the socket.
Ted had his first surgery at 6 months. It was very successful. He ran and chased chipmunks and deer for years in Pa. We moved to SC
and he found squirrels to chase but was going slower and falling. The elbow joints were affected also. Feb '06 he had a bout with
gastric tortion (stomach flipped) and the surgery was successful. Oct 06 he was diagnosed with lymphoma and within several
treatments had it in remission. Upon finishing his chemo, he had started a little PT to help with the damaged elbows. But a second bout
with gastic tortion took him out of his pain. Ted was a loyal loving dog that God took home a week short of his 8th birthday....4-25-07. We
miss him everyday.

Mandy had just turned 14, May 5 2009. She was blind and deaf and with our move to York she became totally disoriented. Mandy was the
best tempermented Cocker Spaniel I have ever encountered. Most are like Jekyl and Hyde. But Mandy had the heart to encapsulate the
world. We all could learn from this little girl. She had been failing for the last couple years but always had a little wiggle in her walk. I had
said, when her little tail stops, I know it's time. Her time had come and now, she is  surrounded by the beautiful Day Lillies where she
used to lay.
